Is the 2021 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, powerful handling, and luxurious features. That lines up well with its role as a three-row luxury SUV that blends polished road manners with a premium cabin and strong utility.

If you want a refined, well-equipped, and versatile used SUV for everyday driving, this model fits that use case well. With 34.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2021 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort, performance, and driving confidence. That kind of positive long-term sentiment matters when you’re shopping used, because it often reflects a vehicle people feel good about keeping.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about day-to-day satisfaction and more about staying ahead of higher repair and upkeep costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm the vehicle’s condition matches the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, ride quality, and overall maintenance history, since this is a premium SUV where condition matters a lot.

It also helps to focus on how the vehicle has been used and maintained, especially if you’re comparing examples with similar prices.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price movement to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 805 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,559, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $25,559 sits slightly below last year's $30,841.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if prices continue to soften. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger hit later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $23,603, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $25,559 average.
• It offers a refreshed design and updated technology.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better pick if you want the stronger current-market mix of owner satisfaction, inventory, and pricing. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2020 is the more budget-friendly alternative and still brings many of the Q7’s core strengths.
