You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the vehicle’s condition, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings. Pay close attention to equipment and features, since the technology and safety content can vary from one Q7 to another.

It also makes sense to check that the SUV’s condition matches its asking price, since well-kept examples are the ones most likely to justify a premium.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $23,243, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $24,878 average.
• It offers a refreshed, upscale feel with strong driving character.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market signal and a broad set of listings to compare, the 2021 is the better primary target. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable with an older model year, the 2020 is the more budget-conscious path.
