Used 2021 Audi Q5 for Sale nearChattanooga, TN

How much does the 2021 Audi Q5 cost?

Prices have softened 12.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,210 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare on price and condition.

Is the 2021 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Audi Q5 earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Q5’s appeal comes through as a comfortable, tech-forward luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a plug-in hybrid option that broadens its appeal. It also brings a classy, modern cabin and strong everyday usability, but you should weigh the uninspired styling and the cheap-feeling interior materials against those strengths. The expert notes also point to the fact that advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to shop higher trims or options if that matters to you.

Good and great deals account for 38.8% of listings, which suggests there’s still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q5’s reliability case is helped by its established second-generation platform and the way Audi has integrated electrification into the lineup without abandoning the model’s core strengths. The plug-in hybrid setup is described as innovative, and the powertrain’s ability to switch between electric assist, hybrid operation, and battery-reserve modes adds flexibility for daily use. The cabin and equipment also suggest a well-developed product rather than a rushed one.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term risk is making sure the battery, charging behavior, and hybrid-specific systems have been maintained and used properly over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with charging-related use patterns. Focus on overall condition, evidence of consistent maintenance, and whether the features you want are actually present on the trim you’re shopping.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model skips navigation, while the Premium Plus can add it and the Prestige Package includes it. The cabin is described as classy and modern, but the plug-in model’s S-Line trim pieces and standard 19-inch wheels help it stand apart visually.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a 14.1-kWh battery for 362 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque. It can drive on battery power alone for up to 20 miles depending on charge state and returns 65 MPGe combined or 27 mpg combined in gasoline-only mode.
• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense basic, low-speed collision assist, and a rearview camera are standard, while Audi Side Assist with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, park steering assist, traffic-sign recognition, and a top-view camera system are available. Advanced safety features are not standard.
• Infotainment: You get Audi’s MMI 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus display, and wireless Apple CarPlay. Navigation is available on the Premium Plus trim and included with the Prestige Package.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid is rated at 65 MPGe combined and 27 mpg combined in gasoline-only mode.

Which 2021 Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Audi Q5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the plug-in hybrid Q5 experience at the lowest starting price. It makes sense if you want the core powertrain and standard all-wheel drive without stretching for extras.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it unlocks more convenience and tech, including available navigation and the option for the Bang & Olufsen audio system. If you want the most balanced mix of equipment and price, start here.
• Prestige: This is the most fully equipped version, and it includes navigation plus the Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system as standard. Choose it if you want the most premium experience and are willing to pay for it.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check carefully for the driver-assistance equipment you want on any trim you consider.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Audi Q5?

The market looks moderate for selective buyers who are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,210 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,859, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $21,859 sits slightly below last year's $24,877.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make the Q5 easier to purchase now but may also temper near-term resale upside for current owners. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking an immediate depreciation hit. A well-kept example with the right equipment should still appeal to shoppers looking for a premium, tech-heavy SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Audi Q5 safe?

The 2021 Audi Q5 hasn’t been rated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety yet, but the 2020 Q5 received top “good” ratings in every category except headlights, where it received a “marginal” rating. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the 2021 Audi Q5 gasoline model five stars but has not yet rated the PHEV.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi Pre Sense basic is standard, along with six airbags, brake assist, low-speed collision assist, rear child safety locks, electronic stability control, a rearview camera, and TPMS. Available driver-assistance features include Audi Pre Sense rear, Audi Side Assist with rear cross-traffic alert, Parking System Plus, adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, park steering assist, traffic-sign recognition, and a top-view camera system. The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you’ll want to verify equipment carefully on any used example.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Audi’s electrification push is a key highlight this year, and the Q5 PHEV brings a plug-in hybrid powertrain with strong efficiency and a tech-rich cabin.

The bottom line: The 2021 Q5 makes the most sense if you want this model year’s plug-in hybrid setup, strong tech, and a market that currently favors shoppers. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully and target the lower end of the range, but the 2021 is the better pick when you want the electrified version and a well-equipped luxury SUV.
