Used 2021 Audi Q3 for Sale nearRichmond, VA

How much does the 2021 Audi Q3 cost?

Prices have softened 11.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,048 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Audi Q3 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Audi Q3 earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Safety.

The Q3 stands out as a subcompact luxury SUV that blends an engaging driving experience with useful technology and a refined ride. It is especially appealing if you want comfort, tech, and a polished driving feel in a smaller luxury package. The trade-offs are clear, though: the cabin materials can feel cheap, the back seat is cramped, and cargo space is limited enough that practicality takes a back seat.

The expert notes also point to a strong stereo and impressive technology, which help the Q3 feel well equipped for everyday use. At the same time, the writeup calls it poor value for money, so it makes the most sense if you prioritize refinement and features over maximum utility.

The market shows 38.0% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q3 is described as a refined, easy-to-live-with luxury SUV with standard driver assistance features and helpful in-car tech, which supports the case for a well-rounded ownership experience. Its turbocharged powertrain is presented as lively, and the ride quality is a clear strength, both of which matter when you plan to keep a vehicle for years.

It also runs on regular gasoline, which can help keep day-to-day ownership costs more manageable than some luxury rivals. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the cramped cabin and limited cargo room may feel more restrictive over time if your needs grow.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi Q3?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on interior condition, since the cabin is a known weak point, and make sure the tech and driver-assistance features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim includes leather upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a power liftgate, four USB ports, and several high-tech driver assistance features. The Premium Plus adds remote start, pushbutton start, remote keyless entry, wireless device charging, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Premium Plus is the best-value trim if you want the most convenience features without stepping into option-heavy territory.
• Powertrain: The Q3 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. The S-Line version of the same engine is tuned to 228 hp and 258 lb-ft, and it is the stronger choice if you want more punch.
• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front are standard, and Pre Sense Front includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection. Lane-departure warning is standard as well. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, a 360-degree camera system, front-and-rear parking sensors, and self-parking assist are available, so check carefully which features are included on the specific vehicle you are considering.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8.8-inch touchscreen with Audi MMI, standard Android Auto, and wireless Apple CarPlay. A 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation is available, along with wireless device charging, satellite radio, and a Bang & Olufsen 15-speaker premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q3 Quattro is rated at 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. The S-Line Quattro returns 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2021 Audi Q3 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Audi Q3 is offered in 2 trim levels: Premium and Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still comes with leather upholstery, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, and standard driver assistance features. It makes sense if you want the Q3’s core strengths at the lowest price.
• Premium Plus: This is the trim to target if you want the most useful convenience upgrades, including remote start, pushbutton start, remote keyless entry, wireless device charging, and a hands-free power liftgate. It is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the features you are most likely to notice every day.

You can also add a Convenience Package for more driver assistance features and creature comforts, and the Technology Package adds a larger touchscreen, a premium stereo, and a digital instrument panel.

• Inventory: There are 1,048 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.63% compared with last year.

What is the 2021 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $20,943 sits slightly below last year's $23,700.

That price movement suggests the Q3 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at today’s average, you are starting from a lower price base, which can help reduce the risk of overpaying. The Q3’s appeal is strongest when its tech, ride quality, and luxury feel are front and center, so well-kept examples with desirable equipment should remain easier to move later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model year adds additional high-tech safety features and drops the top-tier Prestige trim, with those features moved into option packages.

The bottom line: The 2021 Q3 makes the most sense if you want a refined, tech-forward subcompact luxury SUV and you are comfortable trading some practicality for comfort and features. If you are shopping on a tighter budget, the softer pricing and decent deal availability make this a good year to target; if you want the most equipment, look closely at well-optioned Premium Plus examples.
