How much does the 2021 Audi Q3 cost?

Prices have softened 11.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,064 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2021 Audi Q3 a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Audi Q3 earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Safety.

The Q3 stands out as a subcompact luxury SUV that blends an engaging driving experience with useful technology and a refined ride. It also comes with standard driver assistance features and helpful in-car tech, which makes it feel well equipped for everyday use.

The main trade-offs are that the cabin materials can feel cheap and the back seat is cramped. It is also described as poor value for money, so its appeal is strongest if you prioritize comfort, tech, and a polished driving feel over maximum utility.

With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q3 is presented as a refined, easy-to-live-with luxury SUV with standard driver assistance features and helpful in-car tech, which supports confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its performance is described as lively with solid passing power in the stronger setup, and the ride is noted for being very comfortable.

The standard powertrain is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder paired with an eight-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive, and the more potent tune is described as a great fit for the vehicle. The Q3 can also run on regular gasoline, which helps keep ownership costs more manageable.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that the Q3’s premium feel does not fully erase its practicality compromises, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Audi Q3?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are comparing multiple listings. Focus on cabin condition, rear-seat usability, and cargo-area wear, since the Q3’s practicality is one of its main compromises.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim includes leather upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a power liftgate, four USB ports, and several high-tech driver assistance features. The Premium Plus adds remote start, pushbutton start, remote keyless entry, wireless device charging, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Premium Plus is the best-value trim if you want more convenience features without chasing the deleted top trim’s former territory.
• Powertrain: The Q3 comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. The stronger tune makes 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque and is described as a great fit, while the base engine has more noticeable turbo lag under hard acceleration.
• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front are standard, and Pre Sense Front includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection. Lane-departure warning is standard as well. Optional features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, a 360-degree camera system, front-and-rear parking sensors, and self-parking assist. Some of those features are only available on higher trims or as options.
• Infotainment: The standard system uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. An upgraded 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation is available, along with wireless device charging, satellite radio, and a Bang & Olufsen 15-speaker premium audio system. Audi Virtual Cockpit is also available.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA estimates for the Quattro model are 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. The stronger S-Line Quattro returns 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined.

Which 2021 Audi Q3 trim should I buy?

The 2021 Audi Q3 is offered in 2 trim levels: Premium and Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still brings a strong equipment list with leather upholstery, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen, a power liftgate, and several driver assistance features. If you want the lowest starting price and still want the core Q3 experience, this is the trim to start with.
• Premium Plus: This trim adds remote start, pushbutton start, remote keyless entry, wireless device charging, and a hands-free power liftgate. It is the best-value trim if you want a more complete luxury experience without relying heavily on options.

The safety package includes Audi Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front as standard, with additional driver assistance features available as options or packages.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Audi Q3?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,064 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,674, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $20,674 sits slightly below last year's $23,412.

That price decline suggests the Q3 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who bought when prices were higher.

The Q3’s appeal is strongest for shoppers who value comfort, tech, and a polished driving feel, which can help support demand in the used market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Audi Q3 safe?

The 2021 Audi Q3 earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with Audi Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front, and Pre Sense Front includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pedestrian detection. Lane-departure warning is standard as well.

Optional driver assistance features include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, a 360-degree camera system, front-and-rear parking sensors, and self-parking assist for parallel and perpendicular parking spots. Some of those features are not standard on every trim.

Should I buy a 2021 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 model gains additional high-tech safety features and loses its top-tier Prestige trim, with those features now available as options packages.

The bottom line: The 2021 Q3 makes sense if you want a well-equipped, comfortable luxury SUV and you like the idea of shopping a model year with softer prices. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-equipped listing rather than the newest badge.
