Used 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia for Sale nearRaleigh, NC

How much does the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia cost?

Prices have softened 11.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 202 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

The Giulia is positioned as a performance-first luxury sedan, so you get stylish design, great handling, and a premium feel rather than a comfort-first approach. That makes it a strong fit if you want a sedan that feels lively and distinctive instead of conventional.

The main trade-offs are a cramped back seat and limited cargo space, and the technology is described as outdated. Even so, the car’s fun-to-drive character and attractive cabin help it stand out if driving enjoyment matters most.

39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Giulia is described as a performance sedan with an attractive cabin and a strong focus on driving enjoyment, but it also carries some ownership trade-offs. Its performance hardware and responsive powertrain are strengths, while the technology is described as outdated and the cabin is not as upscale as some rivals.

The standard engine is responsive for everyday use, and the car’s setup is tuned to feel taut without sacrificing ride quality. For maintenance, the model’s ownership experience is helped by the fact that the 2020 update brought an improved infotainment system, which carries into this year’s car.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that a neglected example may combine aging tech with higher repair sensitivity than more mainstream luxury sedans.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had prior bodywork or multiple owners. Focus on overall condition, because the Giulia’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and whether the cabin and electronics still feel fresh.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sprint trim brings leather upholstery, remote start, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and an 8.8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Ti adds a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and front parking sensors. The Ti Sport adds unique exterior design elements, a limited-slip rear differential, and a sport steering wheel. The Quadrifoglio adds upgraded aerodynamic bodywork, a carbon-fiber roof, Brembo brakes, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, and an Alcantara headliner.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque, while the Quadrifoglio uses a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 505 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic, and rear-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive available on the base engine.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, and rear parking sensors. Lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and a driver drowsiness monitor are optional, so you should check carefully for feature gaps on the specific car you’re considering.
• Infotainment: The Giulia uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that can also be controlled by a rotary dial. It includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the updated system is meant to be easier to use than the previous setup.
• Fuel efficiency: The base rear-wheel-drive engine returns 24 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined. With all-wheel drive, it returns 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined. The Quadrifoglio returns 17 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.

Which 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia trim should I buy?

The 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is offered in 4 trim levels: Sprint, Ti, Ti Sport, and Quadrifoglio.

Here's the short version:

• Sprint: This is the value play if you want the Giulia’s core personality without stretching the budget. You still get leather upholstery, remote start, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and the 8.8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Ti: This is the best all-around choice if you want more comfort and convenience without jumping to the performance-focused upper end. The panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and front parking sensors make it feel more complete for daily use.
• Ti Sport: Choose this if you want a more athletic feel and a few hardware upgrades. The limited-slip rear differential and sport steering wheel add to the Giulia’s driving character, while the unique exterior elements give it a more aggressive look.
• Quadrifoglio: This is the trim for maximum performance. It adds the twin-turbo V6, Brembo brakes, upgraded aerodynamic bodywork, a carbon-fiber roof, and premium audio, but it is the most expensive and most specialized version.

Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, and rear parking sensors, while several other driver-assistance features remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 202 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,982, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia's resale value?

The current average of $20,083 sits slightly below last year's $22,565.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make the car easier to purchase now but may also mean slower appreciation later. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value.

Because the Giulia is a performance-oriented luxury sedan with a distinct personality, well-kept examples should continue to attract shoppers who want something different from the usual premium sedan formula. That said, the softer pricing trend means future sellers should expect depreciation to remain part of the ownership equation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia safe?

The 2021 Giulia earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, and rear parking sensors. Lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and a driver drowsiness monitor are optional, so you should verify which features are actually installed on the car you’re considering.

That means safety can vary meaningfully by trim and option package, so a careful feature check matters more than usual. If you want the most complete protection suite, look for a well-equipped example rather than assuming every Giulia has the same equipment.

Should I buy a 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the performance-first character, with a strong expert emphasis on driving enjoyment and handling.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $17,644, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $20,083 average.
• It feels special as a performance luxury sedan with strong handling.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and the Giulia’s signature driving character, the 2021 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2020 is the value-oriented alternative, especially if you find a well-kept example.
