Used 2021 Acura TLX for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2021 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 3.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 683 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2021 Acura TLX a good car?

Generally — the 2021 Acura TLX earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The TLX is aimed at you if you want a midsize sport sedan with a more premium feel, a distinct identity, and a stronger design presence than a basic commuter sedan. Its stylish exterior, premium interior materials, and multiple powertrain options support that mission, while the sporty soundtrack adds to the character.

The trade-offs are real: the back seat is cramped, the technology is unintuitive, and cargo space is limited. If you value style and a richer cabin more than maximum practicality, the TLX makes sense.

32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Acura TLX reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The TLX is positioned as a premium sport sedan with a new platform, new exterior and interior, and multiple powertrain choices, which gives it a more substantial feel than a simple carryover model. Its expert evaluation also points to a solid, well-developed driving character, with a strong emphasis on refinement and capability.

The performance content highlights a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, a 10-speed automatic, and a chassis tuned for a balanced, nimble driving experience. The cost-effectiveness content also notes Acura’s four-year/50,000-mile new-vehicle limited warranty and six-year/70,000-mile powertrain coverage.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium sedan with more complex technology and available all-wheel drive can be more expensive to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Acura TLX?

At 68.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or electronic repairs. Focus on overall condition, since the TLX’s appeal depends heavily on its cabin quality, technology, and driving feel.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model gets the core TLX experience, while higher trims add more upscale equipment and convenience features. The base trim also misses some of the more advanced tech and luxury touches that help the TLX feel premium.
• Powertrain: The TLX uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, and SH-AWD is available.
• Safety package: Every TLX includes AcuraWatch, with adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. New-for-2021 features include pedestrian sensing and autonomous emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition, traffic jam assist, and a driver attention monitor.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 10.2-inch landscape-oriented infotainment screen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth audio streaming, and Siri Eyes Free are included, and navigation with voice recognition is standard above the base trim level.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA estimates fuel economy at 22 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined for FWD models, and 21/29/24 combined for AWD.

Which 2021 Acura TLX trim should I buy?

The 2021 Acura TLX is offered in 4 trim levels: base, Tech, A-Spec, Advance.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point to the TLX lineup, and it gives you the core design, powertrain, and safety foundation. It makes sense if you want the TLX’s style and driving character at the lowest starting price.
• Tech: This is the best-value trim if you want the most useful upgrades without jumping too far up the price ladder. It adds more convenience and technology content while staying focused on everyday usability.
• A-Spec: This trim is the better pick if you want a more expressive look and a richer feature set. It also unlocks some of the TLX’s more desirable premium touches.
• Advance: This is the most comfort- and luxury-oriented version, with the most upscale equipment in the lineup. It suits you best if you want the fullest TLX experience and are willing to pay for it.

All TLX models come with AcuraWatch, and available safety features include rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and the head-up display.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Acura TLX?

The market looks moderate and selective buyers should still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 683 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,372, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $27,111 sits slightly below last year's $28,150.

That softer pricing trend suggests the TLX is currently more accessible to used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that can mean less immediate upside if you buy at today’s average and try to resell soon after.

Even so, the TLX’s premium positioning and strong design help it stay relevant in the used market. If you keep mileage and condition in check, it should remain appealing to shoppers looking for a stylish sport sedan.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Acura TLX safe?

The 2021 Acura TLX has not yet been tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), but Acura engineers have targeted five-star ratings and Top Safety Pick + ratings for the 2021 TLX.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

All TLX models come with the AcuraWatch suite of driver-assistance technologies, which includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. Additional standard safety features include pedestrian sensing and autonomous emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition, traffic jam assist, a driver attention monitor, a multi-angle rear-view camera system with dynamic guidelines, and a full complement of airbags.

Available safety features include rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and the head-up display.
