Used 2020 Toyota Supra for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2020 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 173 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

The 2020 Toyota Supra is presented as a long-awaited return that delivers better performance than before, with great handling and a fun-to-drive character that fits a sports car well. The trade-offs are a poor ergonomic design and the sense that it does not feel especially special, even with its strong driving dynamics.

For shoppers who want a sharp-handling, performance-focused coupe, that balance may work in your favor. Good and great deals make up 32.4% of listings, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2020 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Toyota Supra’s reliability story is tied to its performance-focused engineering and its shared BMW underpinnings, which the source treats as part of the car’s identity. The expert notes emphasize that the car is built around strong chassis dynamics and power delivery, and that it is meant to be driven hard rather than treated like a conventional commuter.

The source also notes that Toyota covers the first four years of Apple CarPlay access, which helps soften one ownership annoyance early on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s specialized hardware and ownership experience may be less forgiving than a more mainstream sports coupe.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a sports car that may have been driven hard. Focus on overall condition, signs of track use, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim and package you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim comes with 19-inch wheels, Michelin high-performance tires, LED head- and taillights, remote keyless entry, 14-way sport bucket seats, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and a suite of driver-assistance features. The Premium adds heated leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a head-up display. The Launch Edition is limited to 1,500 examples and adds red mirror covers, 19-inch matte black wheels, and red leather upholstery.
• Powertrain: The car uses a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with a twin-scroll turbo that makes 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive. There is no manual transmission option.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning with steering assist, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing wipers. The available Driver Assist Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The base system uses a 6.5-inch screen with touchscreen and rotary-dial control. The Premium and Launch Edition get an 8.8-inch touchscreen, wireless device charging, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
• Fuel efficiency: The car returns 24 mpg city and 31 highway, with 26 combined.

Which 2020 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Supra is offered in 3 trim levels: 3.0, 3.0 Premium, Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• 3.0: This is the value play if you want the core Supra experience at the lowest entry point. You still get the 3.0-liter turbo inline-six, rear-wheel drive, the 6.5-inch infotainment screen, and the standard driver-assistance suite, so you are not giving up the fundamentals that define the car.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want the most meaningful comfort and tech upgrades. It adds heated leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, a larger 8.8-inch touchscreen, and a head-up display.
• Launch Edition: This is the limited-run choice if you want the most distinctive appearance package and exclusivity. It is essentially a Premium with special visual touches and limited production, so it makes sense mainly if rarity matters to you.

The available Driver Assist Package adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Supra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 173 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,709, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $49,824 sits slightly below last year's $49,965.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help future sellers avoid steep depreciation shocks. Because prices have not moved sharply, you may have a better chance of preserving value if you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning with steering assist, pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, and rain-sensing wipers. Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 stands out for its long-awaited return and its strong performance focus.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $47,596, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $49,824 average.
• It adds two new engines, including a more affordable option.

The bottom line: If you want the original return of the modern Supra and value its performance-first character, the 2020 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2021 may be the smarter shopping move because it brings a lower average price and broader engine choice.
