Used 2020 Toyota Camry for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2020 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 3.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,228 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Camry earns 4.7/5 from owners and 7.5/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and great fuel economy, and many also like its stylish design and smooth ride. The Camry’s appeal is strongest if you want a well-equipped midsize sedan that balances everyday usability with a more expressive look than older Camrys. The main trade-offs are that some owners want more horsepower and more advanced options, and a few mention a learning curve with the newer technology features. It also fits shoppers who want a practical family sedan with broad appeal rather than a pure enthusiast car. Good and great deals account for 32.9% of listings, so there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to reliability, comfort, and great fuel economy, which are exactly the kinds of traits that usually matter most when you plan to keep a car for years. The expert review also emphasizes Toyota’s reputation for quality, reliability, and value, along with the Camry’s renewed attention to detail. ToyotaCare adds free maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car has been maintained well and hasn’t absorbed hidden wear from prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had any prior damage or multiple owners. Focus on condition details that matter in daily use, including interior wear, tire condition, brake feel, and whether the technology and driver-assistance features work as expected. If you’re comparing multiple listings, the cleanest example with the best maintenance history is usually worth the extra attention.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims feel well finished, but the higher trims add more luxury equipment, and the TRD stands apart with red trim accents and a more aggressive look. The base L trim is best avoided, while the LE opens the door to useful options such as AWD and blind-spot monitoring.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with FWD or AWD, or a 3.5-liter V6 with 301 horsepower. The four-cylinder is the efficiency-minded choice, while the V6 suits you if you want stronger acceleration and a more upscale feel.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, so you should check whether a listing has it.
• Infotainment: Lower trims use a standard 7-inch screen, with an optional 8-inch upgrade. Android Auto is standard, and some trims add Remote Connect, while higher trims can get a larger driver display and an optional head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-drive four-cylinder is rated at 31 mpg combined in XLE and XSE trim, AWD drops that to 28 mpg, and front-drive V6 models manage 26 mpg combined. The TRD is rated at 25 mpg.

Which 2020 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Camry is offered in 8 trim levels: L, LE, SE, SE Nightshade, XLE, XSE, TRD, and XLE V6.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the trim to skip unless price is your only priority, because the content points you toward the LE as the better starting point.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it opens the door to useful options like AWD and blind-spot monitoring without pushing you into a much pricier model.
• SE: Choose this if you want a sportier look and better interior trimmings, including synthetic leather seats instead of cloth.
• SE Nightshade: Pick this if you want the SE’s equipment with blacked-out exterior trim and black 18-inch wheels.
• XLE: This is the comfort-focused choice, adding more luxury equipment such as leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and the upgraded audio and infotainment system.
• XSE: This is the best fit if you want a more upscale, sportier feel with the same luxury-oriented equipment as the XLE.
• TRD: This is the enthusiast pick, with a 301-horsepower V6, lowered suspension, beefed-up brakes, and high-performance tires.
• XLE V6: This is the premium V6 choice if you want the stronger engine in a more luxury-oriented package.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, so it’s worth prioritizing on any trim you consider.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,228 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,621, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $19,901 sits slightly below last year's $20,551.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also suggests the Camry has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation. If you plan to sell later, the current market gives you a useful baseline: a well-kept Camry with strong equipment and a clean history should remain easier to move than a rougher example. The combination of broad shopper appeal and steady owner satisfaction should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2020 Toyota Camry earns a five-star rating from NHTSA and Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes a pre-collision system with emergency braking and pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Every Camry also includes 10 airbags, stability control, a backup camera, and a one-year trial of Safety Connect. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, and Bird’s Eye View is available on higher trims. The main caveat is that Toyota’s safety suite is not quite as comprehensive as in some other Toyota models.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 adds all-wheel drive and the TRD, broadening the Camry’s appeal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,609, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $19,901 average.
• It offers strong safety and a free maintenance plan.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,692, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,901 average.
• It adds updated infotainment, a better driver-aid package, and more trim flexibility.

The bottom line: If you want the most interesting version of this generation, the 2020 is the better target because it adds AWD and the TRD. If you’re focused on saving money, the 2019 is the value play, while the 2021 makes sense if you want the newer tech and driver aids.
