The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the 2020 model three top Good scores, an Acceptable for side impacts, and a Marginal for driver-side small-overlap front crashes. The Mirage G4 includes a reversing camera, and front and rear parking sensors are the only available optional safety features. The Mitsubishi G4’s low price and above-average fuel economy may attract shoppers on a tight budget, but that doesn’t necessarily make it a value proposition, particularly when it comes to any trim above the base.
