About 2020 Jaguar F-PACE
It didn't take long for Jaguar's first SUV, the F-Pace, to become the brand’s best-selling vehicle after it was released in 2017. For 2020, the new 300 Sport and Checkered Flag Limited Editions join the stable. The F-Pace competes against the Mercedes GLC-Class, Acura RDX, BMW X3, Porsche Macan, and Audi Q5. The sleek, athletic F-Pace clearly draws influence from the F-Type sports car, with elements such as a sculpted hood and raked roofline. The new 300 Sport gets Dark Satin Grey exterior trim and exclusive badging. It's available in the choice of Yulong White, Indus Silver, or Santorini Black finish. The Checkered Flag version gets a sport front bumper, gloss black trim, and the choice of Yulong White, Santorini Black, or new Eiger Grey paint. The F-Pace is available with a range of five engines. The base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder rated for 247 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque, which pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A more powerful version of this engine increases output to 296 hp and 295 lb-ft. A 3.0-liter supercharged V6, rated for 380 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, and a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, rated for 550 hp and 502 lb-ft, are also available. The supercharged V8 gets 16 mpg city, 21 highway, 18 combined for fuel-economy ratings. The 300 Sport gets the 247-hp 4-cylinder engine and the Checkered Flag gets the 296-hp engine. All-wheel drive (AWD) comes standard on every F-Pace. The F-Pace has room for five passengers and plenty of cargo space. The cabin has a pleasant aesthetic and good finish quality. Standard features on the Base trim include 18-inch wheels, a sliding panoramic roof, a power tailgate, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Next up is Premium, which adds 19-inch wheels, auto-dimming power-fold mirrors, and front-seat memory settings. Next, the Prestige adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The Portfolio adds 20-inch wheels, 20-way power front seats, upgraded upholstery, and reclining rear seats. R-Sport and S trims add perforated leather sport seats with contrast stitching. The 300 Sport gets yellow contrast stitching, and both the 300 Sport and the Checkered Flag feature exclusive logo motifs. A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes standard, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, HD Radio, and a Meridian audio system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are newly standard for 2020. Options include an upgraded Meridian system, navigation, and a WiFi hotspot. The F-Pace has not been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Standard safety features include a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and driver-drowsiness monitoring. Options include a 360-degree camera, a rear traffic monitor, blind-spot alert, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability. The 300 Sport and Checkered Flag options make the F-Pace even more enticing for 2020.
