How much does the 2020 Honda Odyssey cost?

Prices have softened 8.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,995 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 4.78/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Odyssey for its spaciousness, comfort, and user-friendly features, and many also like the more luxurious feel and updated technology. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a family vehicle that prioritizes easy daily use, passenger room, and practical convenience. The market also shows 35.5% of listings as good or great deals, which adds some shopping flexibility.

Is the 2020 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle people tend to count on for spaciousness, comfort, and everyday usability. That kind of repeat praise matters for used buyers because it suggests the Odyssey has earned trust over time, even if some shoppers still weigh price carefully. For long-term ownership, you should still focus on maintenance history and condition, since those factors matter most once a minivan is out of warranty.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

At 63.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that can hint at past repairs. Because this model is often bought for family duty, focus on cabin condition, seat operation, and overall maintenance quality as much as mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Odyssey?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,995 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,868, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $24,005 sits slightly below last year's $26,246.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well you maintain the vehicle. If you keep mileage reasonable, preserve condition, and avoid accident history, you give yourself a better chance of holding value. Strong demand for family-friendly minivans can help, but clean, well-kept examples usually stand out most when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,370, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $24,005 average.
• It brings fresher styling and updated safety and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower pricing with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you are willing to pay more for a fresher-feeling version with updated presentation, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
