Used 2020 Honda HR-V for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2020 Honda HR-V cost?

Prices have softened 1.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,159 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Honda HR-V a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Honda HR-V earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, quality, and spaciousness, and many also like its fuel economy and available AWD. For you, that makes it a smart fit if you want a practical subcompact SUV with everyday usefulness and a versatile interior. With 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Honda HR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, especially for shoppers who want a vehicle they can count on over time. That said, used-car reliability still depends on how the specific example was maintained, so a careful inspection matters. For you, the main long-term ownership risk is buying a neglected example rather than a fundamentally weak model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda HR-V?

At 62% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you commit. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, interior wear, and any signs of poor repair work. Because this model is often chosen for practicality, make sure the cargo area, seats, and everyday-use features still meet your needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda HR-V?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,159 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.69% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,947, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda HR-V's resale value?

The current average of $18,615 sits slightly below last year's $18,935.

That softer pricing suggests the model is holding value reasonably well, but not aggressively appreciating. If you plan to sell later, the current trend means your return will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should remain easier to move because shoppers still value the HR-V’s practicality and efficiency.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda HR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,094, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,615 average.
• It keeps the same practical formula but adds a more dated-feeling tech setup.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year, the 2021 is the secondary path, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2020 and shop for a clean, well-kept example.
