Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights a smooth ride and a generally trouble-free ownership experience, with many drivers saying they’re pleased with how the Blazer performs over time. The same feedback also points to a vehicle people feel good about living with day to day, especially when they value comfort and driving ease. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright dissatisfaction and more about paying too much for one that hasn’t been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Blazer?

At 69.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price is near the top of the range or the seller can’t provide detailed service records. Focus your evaluation on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of inconsistent wear so you can separate a clean example from one that may have hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,042 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.01% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,590, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $19,630 sits slightly below last year's $21,339.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the best protection is choosing a well-kept example with strong documentation and avoiding cars with accident history or visible wear. A clean, desirable trim with good equipment should be easier to move later than a rougher example priced too aggressively.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,636, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $19,630 average.
• It feels more road-focused and sporty.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,849, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,630 average.
• It leans harder into style and handling.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of owner satisfaction, decent deal availability, and a lower average price than the 2021. If your priority is saving money, the 2019 is the better value path, especially if you’re comfortable giving up some of the 2020’s updated appeal.
