Inside, the M4 has 10-way power front M sport seats with 4-way lumbar support and power-adjustable side bolsters. The interior comes in a range of leather upholstery and carbon fiber trim options. If you opt for the Competition Package, tri-color M stripes decorate the front seatbelts. The M4 comes with impressive technology, including the latest iteration of BMW’s iDrive infotainment system and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The M4 also includes a WiFi hotspot, wireless-device charging, and an M-specific head-up display (HUD) that projects speed, selected gear, and a color-specific digital tachometer with shift lights. The M4 has not been officially crash-tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). An available Executive Package adds safety features like side- and top-view cameras, adaptive LED headlights with automatic high beams, and parking assist.
