Used 2020 Audi A3 for Sale near New Jersey

How much does the 2020 Audi A3 cost?

Prices have softened 9.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 185 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Audi A3 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

That kind of feedback can be a useful signal if you want a used car that has resonated well with owners, and 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2020 Audi A3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, but you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A3?

At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus closely on body condition, repair quality, and signs of inconsistent wear so you can separate a clean example from one with hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi A3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 185 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,133, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $18,398 sits slightly below last year's $20,405.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future buyers but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value than someone who pays near the top of the range. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who value strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with softened pricing and solid owner satisfaction, especially if you can find a clean, well-documented example. If you're more price-sensitive, keep shopping and compare nearby years to see whether a better-condition or lower-priced listing gives you more value for the money.
