Is the 2019 Audi A3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating suggests you can feel confident considering it as a used-car option. That score points to strong owner satisfaction, which matters when you're trying to balance value, comfort, and day-to-day livability.

With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Audi A3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of feedback suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect from a luxury compact, though condition and maintenance history still matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A3?

At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your condition check on bodywork consistency, panel alignment, tire wear, and signs of uneven repair quality.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A3?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 324 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,948, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $16,256 sits slightly below last year's $17,214.

That tells you the market has eased, which can help you buy at a better entry point but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and buy at the right price, you can reduce the impact of that softer trend. A well-priced example should still appeal to shoppers looking for a premium compact sedan with broad market recognition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a used Audi A3 with a softer price trend and a decent chance of finding a deal. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price.
