Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 779 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,314, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $19,314 sits slightly below last year's $21,507.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the softer current pricing means resale upside may be more limited unless the vehicle is especially well kept and attractively equipped. Strong condition and clean history will matter more if you want to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,220, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,314 average.
• It offers a more thoroughly redesigned luxury crossover with a distinctive style and modern foundation.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall shopping environment, the 2019 is the better primary target because it combines solid deal availability, a large listing pool, and strong owner satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
