Used 2019 Volvo XC60 for Sale nearNewark, NJ

How much does the 2019 Volvo XC60 cost?

Prices have softened 11.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 752 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 Volvo XC60 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, style, and performance, and they also like the luxurious interior and advanced features. For you, that means this XC60 fits especially well if you want a premium compact crossover that feels distinctive, works well as a daily driver, and emphasizes safety and technology. With 38.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Volvo XC60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights that many drivers find it dependable enough to recommend as a daily driver, with comfort and fuel economy adding to the appeal. That kind of satisfaction usually matters most when you plan to keep the vehicle for years rather than months. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying too much for a premium SUV without confirming that the specific example has been well maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report so you can confirm accident status, title history, and any major insurance claims. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, drivetrain behavior, and overall condition, since premium features can be expensive to sort out later. It also makes sense to focus on how the vehicle drives and whether everything feels consistent, especially on a model that can command a higher price than some rivals.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 752 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,351, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $19,351 sits slightly below last year's $21,755.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid overpaying, you reduce the chance of taking an outsized hit later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,598, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,351 average.
• It brings a redesigned platform with a more modern feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall shopping position, the 2019 is the better primary target because it combines solid deal availability, a healthy share of accident-free listings, and strong owner satisfaction. If your main goal is to spend less, the 2018 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with its older-market pricing and tradeoffs.
