Why it stands out
The 2019 Toyota Tacoma continues to shine in the competitive midsize truck market due to its robust build quality and reputation for longevity. Its powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine delivers commendable performance, achieving up to 6,800 pounds of towing capacity, which is ideal for those needing a capable workhorse. Expert reviews highlight its rugged simplicity—a trait that resonates well with traditional truck enthusiasts, giving it a "pure truck" persona without unnecessary frills.
Buyers appreciate the Tacoma's versatility, available in multiple cab styles and configurations, along with its strong resale value—a hallmark of Toyota vehicles. However, while it excels in utility, some drawbacks include outdated technology and an often-stiff ride quality, which might not appeal to those seeking a more refined driving experience. Overall, the Tacoma remains a beloved choice for those prioritizing strength and reliability in a midsize truck.

This vehicle had a terrible engine vibration under load, it was dirty, and dirt everywhere , the tow hitch showed signs of heavy work, and when trying to explain it to the dealer , they more or less couldn’t wait for me to get off there lot.

Love this model, but not this particular unit. It has been hit three times, the back bumper was smashed. I was told it was going to be replaced. The truck was filthy, and the salesman was not honest about the Carfax or the advertised price.
