How much does the 2019 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,097 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 4.56/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its affordability, reliability, and excellent gas mileage, and many also like the strong safety features and easy-to-use controls. That fits especially well if you want a practical everyday car that is straightforward to live with rather than flashy or sporty. With 33.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.56/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable, and the review summary also highlights affordability, excellent gas mileage, and an easy everyday driving experience. That combination suggests a car built for dependable use and low-stress ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the listing has any accident history. Focus closely on body condition, repair quality, and signs of uneven wear, since those details can reveal how well the car was repaired and maintained. If a listing looks especially clean, confirm that the condition matches the paperwork and the photos.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,097 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,125, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,834 sits slightly above last year's $14,738.

That small increase suggests the Corolla is holding value in a steady, predictable way rather than swinging sharply up or down. For a future seller, that kind of pricing stability can make it easier to estimate your exit value and avoid steep depreciation surprises. The model’s broad appeal and practical reputation should help keep demand healthy among used-car shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.56/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.56/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $16,649, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $14,834 average.
• It adds a more stylish design and a bit more personality.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and a proven ownership experience. If you can stretch your budget and want a more polished, more expressive Corolla, the 2020 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2019 remains the smarter buy because it delivers the core Corolla strengths at a lower average price.
