How much does the 2018 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 1.68% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,751 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 2018 Toyota Corolla earns a 4.2/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its great gas mileage, reliability, and ease of driving, and they also like its value and comfortable interior. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical compact car for everyday use rather than something flashy. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback repeatedly highlights reliability, and drivers also describe the Corolla as dependable and easy to live with over time. The same feedback points to a trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, especially if you want a car you can count on for commuting and routine use. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the Corolla’s reputation and more about the condition of the specific example you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

At 44.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your condition check on signs of past repairs, uneven wear, and anything that suggests the car has been used harder than average.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,751 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.68% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 44.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,504, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,449 sits slightly above last year's $14,210.

That modest increase suggests the Corolla continues to hold buyer interest well enough to support pricing. If you own one in good condition, the combination of steady demand and a broad shopper base can help you avoid steep depreciation. The strongest resale examples will usually be the ones with clean history, consistent maintenance, and the kind of everyday practicality shoppers still want.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 44.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.68% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,994, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,449 average.
• It adds standard safety tech and a fresher front-end design.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, demand, and owner satisfaction, the 2018 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one with the right condition and equipment.
