Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.05% compared with last year.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $12,240, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $13,828 average.
• It adds advanced driver-assist features and remains roomy and comfortable.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $15,015, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $13,828 average.
• It emphasizes comfort and everyday usefulness, with broad appeal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better primary choice if you want a well-liked Rogue with a softer price than newer examples. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2018 is the value-oriented alternative to compare first.
