Why it stands out
The 2019 Nissan LEAF is a significant upgrade over its predecessors, offering a well-rounded package for those interested in an electric vehicle. It comes equipped with features that enhance safety and convenience, such as the newly introduced Rear Door Alert, which helps prevent leave-behinds. The LEAF's electric motor delivers a respectable 147 horsepower while offering an impressive range for daily commutes. The 2019 model also includes Nissan’s ProPilot Assist, a semi-autonomous safety feature that makes highway driving more comfortable by steering and accelerating in single-lane situations. Although the base model lacks some modern tech offerings, opting for higher trims brings features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, enhancing the overall driving experience. The appeal lies in its combination of value, practicality, and ease of use, making it a compelling choice for urban drivers.

The leaf is loaded with the features that matter, it is fun to drive and handles well , and will efficiently get me from point a to point b. It handles well on snow and ice, low center of gravity, the heated seats and steering wheel are perfect for Colorado winters and mountain driving.

It is like driving a silent altima. It is a very well sorted out out car. Handling is wonderful. Acceleration is like a 60s muscle car. If I could afford it I would get a newer one with a longer range. Fortunately I dont actually need that. Wanted one of these for years!

I love driving this car. It has a lot of pep and handles very well. The Bose sound system is the best Ive had in a car ever, and there are a few other bells and whistles that make it fun to get into. The range is about 150 miles on a full charge. We are new to EVs, so were challenging ourselves to extend the range as long as possible. We plugged it into our 120 V socket at home and it charges slowly there, but would fully charge overnight. Weve also found lots of fast charging stations within just a few miles of us. If youre looking to get into an electric vehicle, I highly recommend the 2019 Nissan Leaf!!

Does most things quite well, is reliable, doesnt have Tesla speed but enough, range limitation is the biggest downside
