How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cost?

Prices have softened 4.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,209 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Reviewers consistently praise its luxurious feel, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and many also highlight the handling and comfort. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a premium midsize car that balances refinement with everyday usability. With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Reviewers describe it as smooth, comfortable, and generally dependable, with the kind of ownership experience that can feel trouble-free when the car has been well maintained. The strong satisfaction around its long-term comfort and performance suggests it can be a confident used buy if you prioritize condition and service history. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying premium-car costs for a neglected example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

At 64.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on the brakes, electronics, and infotainment system. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the luxury experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,209 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,074, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class's resale value?

The current average of $27,532 sits slightly below last year's $28,801.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained. If you keep mileage reasonable and preserve condition, you should be better positioned when it is time to sell. Strong demand for well-kept luxury cars can help support value, especially when buyers see a clean history and good ownership records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $23,092, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $27,532 average.
• It emphasizes refinement and prestige with strong owner praise.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $30,610, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,532 average.
• It adds a new base engine and broader upscale appeal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want a strong mix of luxury, satisfaction, and current-market value. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better secondary path; if you want to spend more for a newer model, the 2020 is the alternative to compare.
