How much does the 2019 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 12.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,132 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Jeep Wrangler earns a 4.33/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its fun driving experience, power, and outdoorsy appeal, and they also value its reliability for off-road adventures. The Wrangler’s use case is clear: it suits you best if you want a vehicle with serious off-road character and customization potential, not if comfort and everyday practicality are your top priorities. With 34.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights reliability, dependable off-road use, and a vehicle you can count on for adventure-focused ownership. That said, used buyers should still think about long-term ownership risk in terms of maintenance history, wear from trail use, and how well the vehicle has been cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the body, suspension, and interior condition. Because this model is often used for off-road driving, pay close attention to signs of hard use, uneven wear, and any repairs that suggest more than routine ownership. A careful test drive should also help you judge whether the vehicle feels tight, well maintained, and consistent with its mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,132 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 76.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,602, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $23,602 sits slightly below last year's $26,888.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Wranglers with strong demand tend to hold attention well, but you should still expect pricing to reflect the broader downward trend.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $21,093, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $23,602 average.
• It was thoroughly rebooted and brought a major modern refresh.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,047, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $23,602 average.
• It adds a diesel option for more powertrain variety.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of owner satisfaction, decent deal availability, and a lower price than the 2020. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the smarter value play because it undercuts the current-year average while keeping the Wrangler’s core appeal intact.
