Is the 2019 Hyundai Accent a good car?

With 30.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Hyundai Accent reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect from a budget-friendly small car, especially if you verify maintenance history and condition carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Hyundai Accent?

At 48.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the car has any accident record. Focus closely on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean example from one that may need extra work.

This is a moderate market, so you can buy now if the right listing appears, but you should still compare carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

What is the 2019 Hyundai Accent's resale value?

The current average of $10,256 sits slightly below last year's $10,299.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help you estimate future value with less volatility. If you buy at a competitive price and keep the car in strong condition, you’re more likely to preserve value when it’s time to sell. A steady pricing pattern also makes it easier to judge whether a listing is fairly priced today.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Hyundai Accent or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $9,130, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $10,256 average.
• The 2018 stands out as a low-cost, value-focused small sedan with a traditional three-box design.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the current-year market with steady pricing and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better value-oriented alternative, especially if you find a clean example with a strong history.
