How much does the 2019 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 8.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,251 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Honda Pilot earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, comfortable second and third rows, and family-friendly features, while also appreciating the ample cargo space and easy-to-use technology. It fits especially well if you want a practical three-row SUV for daily family use rather than something sporty. With 35.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value comfort and practicality over excitement. The repeated praise for its long-term family usefulness and everyday livability suggests it can be a vehicle you count on for routine use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright failure and more about making sure any individual example has been maintained well and driven without unresolved issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Honda Pilot?

At 66.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Put inspection priority on body condition, signs of prior repair, and how the transmission and cabin feel during a test drive. Because this model is valued for comfort and family use, pay close attention to interior wear, noise levels, and whether everything works as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,251 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,386, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $20,386 sits slightly below last year's $22,281.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale a little less favorable than it was a year ago. If you buy now, you may benefit from the softer entry price, but a future sale could face more competition if prices remain under pressure. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the Pilot’s practical layout and family-friendly reputation remain strong draws.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,331, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,386 average.
• It adds a more refined package of standard safety and everyday usefulness.

The 2019 is the better primary choice if you want the lower entry price and strong owner satisfaction. If you can stretch your budget and want a newer model year, the 2020 is the better secondary path for buyers who value paying more for a later-year example.
