How much does the 2019 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 14.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,113 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

Yes — 4.6/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfortable ride, and cargo space. Those themes line up well with its role as a large family hauler, especially if you want a roomy third row and a comfortable long-distance cruiser. The market also shows 34.9% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort, space, and everyday usability. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction is encouraging, but you should still expect long-term ownership risk to depend heavily on maintenance history and how the vehicle was used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 GMC Yukon XL?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage or other red flags. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear that can come with a large, truck-based SUV. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how well the interior, suspension, and drivetrain have been cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 GMC Yukon XL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,399, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $24,399 sits slightly below last year's $28,402.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking ahead to resale, condition and documentation matter a lot because buyers tend to pay more for well-kept examples with cleaner histories. Strong demand for roomy, family-focused SUVs can still support value, but the current trend favors shoppers more than sellers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, owner satisfaction, and available inventory, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If your top priority is stretching your budget, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
