Used 2019 Ford Taurus for Sale nearNew Orleans, LA

How much does the 2019 Ford Taurus cost?

Prices have softened 9.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 297 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Ford Taurus a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and that lines up with the Taurus’s appeal as a spacious, comfortable sedan with strong performance and a smooth ride. Owners also consistently praise its luxury features and safety aspects, and many like how it handles well in challenging conditions. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a full-size sedan with a roomy cabin and a calm driving experience. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Ford Taurus reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its smooth ride, comfort, and trouble-free confidence in challenging conditions. That kind of long-term approval matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for regular commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the car’s basic appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by age or prior damage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Taurus?

At 57.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus your condition check on bodywork consistency, signs of repair, and overall wear, since those details matter more when a sizable portion of the market has accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Taurus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 297 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,188, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Taurus's resale value?

The current average of $13,188 sits slightly below last year's $14,617.

That tells you the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the car in good condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. The Taurus’s broad appeal as a comfortable, full-size sedan should still help it attract shoppers who want space and a smooth ride.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Taurus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the newest version of this full-size sedan’s final run, the 2019 is the cleanest choice to target, especially if you can find one with a strong history and a price near the lower end of the range. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2019 still makes sense when you want the latest model-year example and can verify condition carefully.
