What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of heavy towing or work use. Pay close attention to overall condition, because a truck like this can vary widely depending on how it was maintained and used. If possible, look closely at the suspension, brakes, tires, and interior wear so you can separate a well-kept truck from one that has been pushed hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,320 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.2% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $41,475 sits slightly below last year's $44,988.

That softer pricing can help you buy more truck for the money today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays cool. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than broad market appreciation. Trucks with cleaner histories and stronger presentation should still stand out when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $45,954, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $41,475 average.
• It adds a new 7.3-liter V8 and a Tremor trim for broader capability.

The bottom line:

If you want the better value today, the 2019 is the smarter starting point because pricing has eased and inventory is healthy. If you’re willing to pay more for newer mechanical options and a broader capability mix, the 2020 is the better secondary path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2019 gives you the stronger balance of cost, satisfaction, and shopping flexibility.
