How much does the 2019 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 11.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,948 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 4.87/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features, while also highlighting the stylish design and smooth driving experience. For you, that means the Durango fits especially well if you want a three-row SUV that balances everyday usefulness with a more muscular personality. The market also shows 33.6% of listings as good or great deals, which adds some buying flexibility.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.87/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback describes it as reliable and favors its family-friendly usability, which suggests many owners feel confident living with it over time. That said, some drivers mention paint-quality concerns and an interior that could use a refresh, so condition matters when you shop used. For long-term ownership, you should pay close attention to maintenance history and overall wear before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate you’re serious about and confirm whether prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, paint consistency, and signs of past collision work. It also makes sense to focus on how the cabin and exterior have aged, since some owners note paint-quality concerns and a need for a fresher-feeling interior.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,948 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,999, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $19,002 sits slightly below last year's $21,378.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale gains harder to count on in the short term. If you buy at a strong price now, you reduce the risk of taking an outsized hit later. The Durango’s broad appeal as a roomy, powerful three-row SUV should still help it attract shoppers when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.87/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.87/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,379, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $19,002 average.
• It adds standard smartphone integration and a more modern cabin feel.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,849, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $19,002 average.
• It emphasizes muscle-car styling with a spacious cabin and multiple powertrain choices.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of value, owner satisfaction, and broad inventory. If your priority is spending less, the 2018 is the better budget path; if you want to stretch for a newer-feeling alternative, the 2020 is the more expensive step up.
