There are 1,790 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — 4.91/5 is a strong user rating, and the feedback points to power, stylish design, and a comfortable ride. Drivers also consistently like the old-school muscle-car vibe paired with modern features, including the user-friendly infotainment setup. For you, that means the 2019 Challenger can work well if you want a coupe with personality, everyday usability, and a broad range of performance choices. With 29.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also highlights that many drivers find it dependable and enjoyable to live with over time, especially when it comes to the car’s strong character and comfortable ride. That said, the ownership experience can still be shaped by maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs, so a used example with a clean service history is the safer long-term bet.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

At 58.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past collision issues. You should also focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept car matters more than mileage alone on a performance coupe like this.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $24,511, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $24,773 sits slightly below last year's $24,980.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help future sellers because it points to predictable pricing rather than sharp swings. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you are less likely to face a dramatic drop in value over a short ownership period. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong enthusiast appeal and broad trim interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,893, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,773 average.
• It adds new colors and a 50th Anniversary package for some trims.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because pricing is steadier and the average cost is lower. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and a few added touches, the 2020 is the better secondary path for shoppers who prioritize those updates over price.
