How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban cost?

Prices have softened 13.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,395 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a full-size SUV built around space, towing ability, and long-haul comfort, with room for up to nine people, up to 121.1 cubic feet of cargo space, and towing capacity of up to 8,300 pounds when properly configured. It also brings a more refined interior and useful technology, including an infotainment system with up to an eight-inch touchscreen, plus safety features such as forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. That makes it a strong fit if you want a large, well-equipped SUV for people-moving, cargo hauling, and towing. 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2019 Suburban is presented as a polished, utility-focused full-size SUV with a refined cabin and a strong feature set, while still delivering the core capability buyers expect from the nameplate. Its size and thirsty gas engines are part of the ownership tradeoff, so long-term costs and day-to-day convenience matter as much as the vehicle’s strengths. For used buyers, that means the biggest reliability risk is less about the concept and more about how well a specific example has been maintained and used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Suburban?

At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large SUV where wear can show up in suspension, brakes, tires, and interior condition. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, since a well-kept example is likely to be the better long-term buy than one that simply looks clean in photos.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Suburban?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,395 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 56.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,712, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban's resale value?

The current average of $22,712 sits slightly below last year's $26,131.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is documented, since buyers will likely compare your listing against a fairly broad supply of similar SUVs. Because this model appeals to shoppers who need space, towing, and comfort, a clean, well-maintained example should still attract interest when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s stronger market position and buyer appeal.
