How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro cost?

Prices have softened 6.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,161 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro earns a 4.79/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its sporty design, powerful performance, and enjoyable driving experience, and many also highlight its handling. That lines up well with the Camaro’s role as a compact, rear-wheel-drive performance car for buyers who want a driver-focused coupe or convertible. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 4.79/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience centered on strong performance and a car you can count on for an engaging drive. That said, used buyers should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition, because long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chevrolet Camaro?

At 59.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially for body condition, alignment, and signs of wear that could affect how the car drives. Because the Camaro’s appeal depends heavily on its sporty feel, you should pay close attention to how the car looks, tracks, and responds on the road.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Camaro?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,161 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 59.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,707, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $26,727 sits slightly below last year's $28,541.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more, because well-kept examples tend to stand out when prices are moving down. Strong owner satisfaction can still support demand, especially for shoppers who want a Camaro with the right mix of style and performance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,801, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $26,727 average.
• It adds the LT1 sleeper trim, which brings SS-style hardware in a more understated package.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market value story and a broad pool of listings, the 2019 is the safer primary choice. If your priority is lower entry pricing and you like the idea of the LT1’s sleeper appeal, the 2020 is the better secondary path for price-sensitive buyers.
