Is the 2019 Buick Encore a good car?

Is the 2019 Buick Encore reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Buick Encore?

At 62.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before making an offer so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if you want to check for signs of prior bodywork or uneven wear. Focus on overall condition, since the best used examples will stand out more on maintenance and cosmetic care than on age alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Buick Encore?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,219 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,124, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Buick Encore's resale value?

The current average of $12,124 sits slightly below last year's $13,768.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average gives you more room to preserve value. Strong condition and clean history will matter more when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Buick Encore or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the primary year to target. If your main goal is to minimize upfront cost, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 stands out as the better balance of price, demand, and shopper confidence.
