You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the vehicle’s condition with a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Because this model leans heavily into luxury equipment, you’ll want to focus on overall condition and how well the features have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q8?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $27,555, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $27,555 sits slightly below last year's $31,763.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and feature content than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should be easier to move than average-condition vehicles.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,397, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,555 average.
• It adds a more performance-focused mission with stronger track-oriented positioning.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2019 is the smarter starting point because pricing has softened and inventory is reasonably healthy. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model year and a more performance-focused setup, the 2020 is the better secondary path.
