What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi Q8?

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks the electronics, suspension, and interior condition. It also helps to compare trim and option content carefully so you know whether the listing matches the features you want.

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

The current average of $27,414 sits slightly below last year's $31,606.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the vehicle in excellent condition, you can help protect your future value. The model's upscale image and strong owner satisfaction should also support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,182, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,414 average.
• It sharpens the Q8's performance-focused mission with a more athletic crossover emphasis.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you're willing to spend more for a newer model year, the 2020 is the better secondary path for buyers who want a slightly more performance-oriented take on the Q8.
