Is the 2019 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Audi Q5 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, ample features, comfortable ride, stylish design, and practicality. That lines up well with the Q5’s role as a premium midsize SUV that prioritizes comfort and everyday usefulness over off-road ambition.

If you want a well-equipped family SUV with a polished image and a refined driving experience, this model year fits that brief well. With 34.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because reviewers describe it as comfortable, practical, and dependable in everyday use. The repeated praise for its refined ride and solid all-around ownership experience suggests it has the kind of character buyers often count on for long-term use.

For used buyers, that means the bigger risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a specific example that has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi Q5?

At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was minor or structural. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, repair quality, and any signs of uneven condition between body panels, interior surfaces, and mechanical operation.

Because this model is valued for comfort and premium features, focus on how well the cabin, electronics, and driving feel have held up. A clean-looking listing is not enough; you want proof that the vehicle’s condition matches its asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,843 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,336, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $17,336 sits slightly below last year's $19,626.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but may limit short-term upside for a seller. If you buy at the right price now, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,474, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $17,336 average.
• It brings a redesigned Q5 with more room, better tech, and improved refinement.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better value play and still delivers the Q5’s core strengths.
