It fits the subcompact luxury SUV role well if you want a small SUV that emphasizes refinement, an upscale interior, composed handling, and strong everyday usability. Is the 2019 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q3’s appeal leans on its upscale cabin, composed road manners, and broad standard equipment, all of which support a reassuring ownership experience. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and standard all-wheel drive give it a well-rounded setup for daily use, while the expert review also highlights confident acceleration and solid composure in normal driving.

Long-term ownership risk for used buyers is mostly about making sure the vehicle has been maintained properly and that any prior wear or damage is fully documented before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi Q3?

At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the equipment level matches the trim being advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium comes with a fully digital instrument panel, a panoramic moonroof, Audi’s MMI infotainment system, full leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat, while the Premium Plus adds full LED automatic headlights, wireless charging, and power adjustment for both front seats. The Prestige adds a navigation system, Audi Virtual Cockpit, additional parking-camera views, an upgraded MMI system, and more advanced lighting and mirror features, so it is the most feature-rich choice if you want the most tech.
• Powertrain: All trims use a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. The engine is described as strong in torque and capable of solid acceleration, with drive modes that include Auto, Dynamic, Individual, Off-Road, and Comfort.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes front- and side-impact airbags, traction control, a reversing camera, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. Audi calls the standard driver-assistance suite Pre Sense City and Pre Sense Basic, while the Prestige adds a fuller set of driver-assistance features and more advanced highway-cruising capability.
• Infotainment: The standard touchscreen is 8.8 inches, while the top trim uses a 10.1-inch display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, wireless device charging is added on Premium Plus, and wireless Apple CarPlay appears on the Prestige.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q3 is rated at 19 mpg city, 27 highway, and 22 combined.

Which 2019 Audi Q3 trim should I buy?

The 2019 Audi Q3 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still comes well equipped with leather upholstery, heated front seats, a panoramic moonroof, a digital instrument panel, and Audi’s MMI system. It makes the most sense if you want the Q3’s core luxury feel without paying for extras you may not use.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds useful everyday upgrades like full LED headlights, wireless charging, and power adjustment for both front seats. If you want a stronger mix of convenience and value, this is the trim to target.
• Prestige: This is the tech-forward choice, adding navigation, Audi Virtual Cockpit, extra camera views, an upgraded MMI system, and more advanced driver-assistance capability. It suits you best if you want the most features and are willing to pay for them.

The Prestige trim brings the fullest safety and driver-assistance setup, while the lower trims still include the core standard safety systems.

What is the 2019 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $18,384 sits slightly below last year's $19,116.

That softer pricing trend suggests the Q3 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to stay competitive on condition and equipment. A well-kept example with desirable features should still draw interest, especially because the model’s upscale cabin and strong technology package help it stand out in the segment.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Standard safety equipment includes the full array of front- and side-impact airbags, traction control, and a reversing camera. The Prestige trim adds a fuller driver-assistance suite, including more advanced highway-cruising capability and a surround-view camera system. That means lower trims still cover the basics well, but the top trim gives you the most complete safety and convenience package.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.83% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the newer-feeling Q3 with the best mix of refinement, tech, and everyday usability, the 2019 is the one to focus on. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2019’s softened pricing and strong feature set make it a compelling target.
