How much does the 2019 Audi Q3 cost?

Is the 2019 Audi Q3 a good car?

Generally — the 2019 Audi Q3 earns a 4.3/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

The Q3’s appeal is strongest if you want a small luxury SUV that emphasizes comfort, refinement, and everyday usability. It also stands out for composed handling and an upscale interior, though cargo and backseat space remain limited and performance is less than thrilling.

36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q3’s overall character points toward a dependable ownership experience if you value a polished, confidence-inspiring daily driver. Its composed handling, upscale cabin, and strong technology focus suggest a vehicle built to feel reassuring in regular use.

The performance setup is straightforward, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, an 8-speed automatic, and Quattro all-wheel drive, which helps keep the drivetrain package simple and well matched to the vehicle’s mission. Audi also frames the car as one that blends technology, driver assistance, and confidence behind the wheel.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium feature set can be more expensive to keep in top shape if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi Q3?

At 68.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the cabin electronics and driver-assistance features work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim includes a fully digital instrument panel, a panoramic moonroof, Audi’s MMI infotainment system, full leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate controls, Bluetooth connectivity, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat, while the Premium Plus adds full LED automatic headlights, wireless charging, satellite radio, remote keyless entry, and power adjustment for both front seats. The Prestige adds a navigation system, Audi Virtual Cockpit, additional parking-camera views, an upgraded MMI system, and more advanced tech, so the base trim is already well equipped but the higher trims add meaningful convenience and technology.
• Powertrain: A 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 makes 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic and Quattro all-wheel drive. The Q3 is described as having solid acceleration in normal driving, with enough torque to make daily commuting feel more responsive.
• Safety package: Audi calls its standard driver-assistance suite Pre Sense City and Pre Sense Basic. Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning, while the Prestige adds a fuller set of driver-assistance features and highway cruising aids.
• Infotainment: The Q3 comes standard with an 8.8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Premium Plus adds wireless device charging, and the Prestige adds wireless Apple CarPlay; the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen appears on the top test car.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA rates the Q3 at 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, with 22 mpg combined.

Which 2019 Audi Q3 trim should I buy?

The 2019 Audi Q3 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the value play if you want the Q3’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not need. You still get the digital instrument panel, panoramic moonroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and the standard infotainment and safety equipment, which makes it the most complete entry trim in the lineup.
• Premium Plus: This trim adds useful everyday upgrades like LED headlights, wireless charging, satellite radio, remote keyless entry, and power adjustment for both front seats. It’s the best middle-ground choice if you want more convenience without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Prestige: This is the trim to choose if you care most about technology and driver-assistance features. It adds navigation, Audi Virtual Cockpit, additional camera views, an upgraded MMI system, and more advanced assistance features, making it the best fit for tech-focused shoppers.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, but the Prestige brings the fullest set of driver-assistance features.

What is the 2019 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $18,459 sits slightly below last year's $19,049.

That price movement suggests the Q3 has softened enough to create a more approachable used-buying window, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it’s time to resell.

The Q3’s strong technology focus and upscale appeal should help it remain attractive to shoppers who want a small luxury SUV with a polished feel. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Standard safety equipment includes the full array of front- and side-impact airbags, traction control, and a reversing camera. The Q3 also comes standard with forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning through Audi’s Pre Sense City and Pre Sense Basic systems.

The Prestige trim adds a fuller set of driver-assistance features, including highway cruising aids and a surround-view camera system. That means you get a solid standard safety package, but the most advanced convenience and visibility features are reserved for the top trim.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2019 Q3 stands out for pairing composed handling with an upscale interior while raising the bar for technology.

The bottom line: The 2019 Q3 makes the most sense if you want the newer, more compelling version of Audi’s small luxury SUV and you value technology, refinement, and a polished driving experience. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2019’s stronger overall package makes it the better target if you can find a clean, well-priced example.
