How much does the 2018 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 1.51% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,774 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to a car that satisfies most owners. Drivers consistently praise its gas mileage, reliability, and ease of driving, and they also like its value and comfortable interior. That lines up well with the Corolla’s practical, easy-to-live-with character, especially if you want a compact car that focuses on everyday usability rather than flash. With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers repeatedly describe it as reliable, and the review summary also highlights its trouble-free nature and dependable daily-driving character. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used car you can count on for routine commuting and ownership over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the Corolla’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

At 44.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any Corolla you’re seriously considering, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if the car has had prior damage or multiple owners. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of uneven wear, since a clean-looking listing can still hide past repairs. If you’re comparing several cars, give extra weight to the ones with clear documentation and consistent service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,774 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.51% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 44.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,513, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,356 sits slightly above last year's $14,143.

That modest increase suggests the Corolla is holding value reasonably well for a used compact car. If you buy carefully and keep the car in good condition, you should have a decent chance of preserving a healthy share of your purchase price. The steady price movement also suggests buyers continue to see value in this model year, which helps support future demand. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 44.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.51% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,912, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,356 average.
• It added standard Safety Sense P and a reversing camera for stronger everyday safety.

The bottom line: The 2018 is the better all-around pick if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If your top priority is saving money, the 2017 is the smarter secondary path, especially if you find one with the safety equipment and condition you want.
