Used 2018 Toyota Camry for Sale nearLexington, KY

How much does the 2018 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 2,833 listings available, you have a fairly broad set of options to compare across trims, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Toyota Camry earns a 4.58/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its attractive design, reliable performance, great gas mileage, comfortable ride, and safety features. That lines up with the Camry’s practical mission as a daily driver for commuting, school runs, and other routine use, while still giving you a more expressive look than a typical family sedan.

With 30.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively and find strong value.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.58/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliable performance, and the review summary also highlights dependable everyday transportation, great gas mileage, and a comfortable ride. The expert evaluation reinforces that this Camry is built around reliable daily use rather than enthusiast flash, which is exactly the kind of trait many used buyers want for long-term ownership.

The main used-car risk is that some listings may have wear, missing options, or interior-material concerns, so condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Toyota Camry?

At 50.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a careful inspection of bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair. It also makes sense to focus on interior condition, since some owners mention concerns about materials and lower-trim equipment. If you are comparing multiple listings, the cleanest example with the best maintenance record is usually the safer buy.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The L trim comes standard with remote keyless entry, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and a USB port, while the LE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, an anti-theft system, and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat. The SE adds the unique front-end design, 18-inch black-finished wheels, a rear spoiler, automatic climate control, and SofTex sport front seats. The XSE adds dual-zone climate control, a trio of USB ports, a head-up display, a panoramic moonroof, and a large 7-inch color information display between the gauges. The XLE adds full LED headlights, a bright metallic front grille, 18-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and upgraded interior trim.
• Powertrain: A 2.5-liter 4-cylinder is the base engine and makes 203 horsepower, while the XSE version of that engine increases output to 206 horsepower. The XSE and XLE are also available with a 301-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, and all versions use an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. The 4-cylinder returns 29 mpg city, 41 highway, 34 combined, while the V6 returns 22 city, 32 highway, 26 combined.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense P is standard and includes forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. You can also get a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and intelligent clearance sonar for low-speed parking.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 7-inch touchscreen with Entune 3.0, Bluetooth connectivity, Siri EyesFree, and Google voice controls for Android users. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not included. The XLE V6 and XSE get a larger 8-inch touchscreen, plus a 9-speaker JBL premium audio system and RemoteConnect with Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: The 4-cylinder returns 29 mpg city, 41 highway, 34 combined, and the V6 returns 22 city, 32 highway, 26 combined.

Which 2018 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2018 Toyota Camry is offered in 5 trim levels: L, LE, SE, XSE, and XLE.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the simplest way into the Camry, with remote keyless entry, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and a USB port. It makes sense if you want the lowest-frills version and plan to prioritize price over features.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, an anti-theft system, and a split-fold rear seat without pushing you into the pricier sport or luxury-oriented trims.
• SE: This is the better pick if you want the sportier look and feel, thanks to the unique front-end design, black-finished wheels, rear spoiler, automatic climate control, and SofTex sport front seats.
• XSE: This is the most feature-rich sporty trim, adding dual-zone climate control, a trio of USB ports, a head-up display, a panoramic moonroof, and the larger 7-inch display between the gauges.
• XLE: This is the comfort-leaning choice, with full LED headlights, chrome-finished wheels, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and upgraded interior trim.

Toyota Safety Sense P is standard across the lineup, so even the lower trims get a strong safety foundation.

• Inventory: There are 2,833 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

What is the 2018 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $17,825 sits slightly below last year's $17,859.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate your future trade-in or private-party value without worrying about sharp swings. Strong demand for a well-regarded used sedan also helps support pricing discipline.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry safe?

It comes standard with 10 airbags, the LATCH child-seat anchoring system, a tire pressure monitoring system, and Toyota Safety Sense P. That suite includes forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control as standard features, which gives you a strong safety baseline even on lower trims.

You can also add a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and intelligent clearance sonar for parking at low speeds. Those extras are especially useful if you want more confidence in tight spaces or heavier traffic.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert review emphasizes bold styling and a sporty feel while keeping the Camry’s core daily-driver mission intact.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $14,986, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $17,825 average.
• It is the last model year of the previous generation and already a very competent family sedan.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,922, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $17,825 average.
• It adds strong safety credentials and a free scheduled maintenance plan.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive styling and a strong mix of safety, efficiency, and everyday usability, the 2018 is the main target. If your priority is saving money, the 2017 is the better value play. If you want to spend more for a newer-feeling package with added ownership perks, the 2019 is worth a look.
