Used Honda Accord for Sale nearLexington, KY

How much does the Honda Accord cost in today's market?

Used Honda Accord prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Honda Accord's current nationwide average price is $18,815, and its nationwide average price reached a low of $17,826 over the past year. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the Honda Accord is a strong used-car pick if you want a roomy, comfortable sedan with broad appeal and a long-running reputation for dependable ownership. The all-generations owner rating is 4.4/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners repeatedly praise the Accord for its reliability, comfort, spacious interior, smooth ride, and fuel efficiency. Across the newer expert-reviewed years, the Accord also stands out for its practical cabin layout, easy-to-use technology, and strong safety equipment.

Expert reviews rate the 2021 and 2014 models among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs buyers should weigh are pricing, the absence of all-wheel drive, and some model-year-specific comfort or tech complaints. 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Honda Accord models reliable?

Owners consistently describe the Accord as dependable, comfortable, and efficient, and the expert-reviewed years reinforce that reputation with praise for its solid road manners and everyday usability. Across the model years in the data, you also see strong owner satisfaction tied to the Accord’s smooth ride and practical cabin.

• Owners rate the Honda Accord between 3.5 and 5 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is generally manageable, but it makes sense to focus on maintenance history and condition because some years have more owner-reported concerns than others.

What should I look for when buying a used Honda Accord?

Across all model years, at 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2023 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and lane-centering assist.
• Infotainment: a standard 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, and HondaLink connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: According to the EPA, the Accord LX and EX should return 32 mpg in combined driving.

Which Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Accord offers these trims:

• LX: The entry gas-only trim uses the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder and gives you the Accord’s core sedan formula at the lowest price point.
• EX: This step-up trim adds an eight-speaker audio system, a more upscale cabin presentation, and the option package with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert; it’s the best-value trim if you want more equipment without moving up the lineup.
• Sport: From this trim up, hybrid power is standard, and it’s the right choice if you want the hybrid setup with a more engaging trim position.
• Touring: This upper trim sits at the top of the range and is the natural pick if you want the most fully equipped Accord experience.

What Honda Accord do most buyers choose?

The Honda Accord years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

Those higher-volume years tend to be popular because they combine strong availability with newer features and broad shopper appeal. More listings also give you more room to compare prices, trims, and deal quality before you buy.

What is the Honda Accord's resale value?

Most Accord model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want prices that have softened. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while the older years show smaller changes. That creates a broad spread of value across the lineup, with especially steady pricing at the lower end of the range.

The 2015 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2015, 2016, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
