Why it stands out
The 2018 Tesla Model X is a remarkable all-electric SUV that has maintained its status as a cutting-edge vehicle since its debut. Sharing a platform with the Tesla Model S, the Model X combines futuristic design with practical features, making it a strong contender in the electric vehicle market. Distinctive elements like the Falcon Wing doors not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also add a level of convenience for rear passengers. While the Model X excels in technology and performance—including a spacious cabin and the ability to offer up to seven seats—it also faces some criticisms, such as cargo capacity limitations compared to traditional SUVs and concerns regarding battery range on long journeys. Nevertheless, many owners appreciate its comfort and capability for daily driving, making it a popular choice among families looking for an eco-friendly vehicle.

Very elegant. A lot faster than I ever expected. Takes a bit to get used to having since coming from a gas vehicle if I had a quarter tank it was no biggie, but when I see 25% battery I start getting anxious lol

Well, there is a limitation to my review. I never drove the car. I have driven other Tesla’s, and I am impressed with their performance, handling, and multiple advanced technical features. The model X is extremely utilitarian, has a gorgeous futuristic interior, and seems very capable as an all-around daily driver as well as giving sports car like performance and the utility of an SUV. So if I had to own only one car as an enthusiast, this might be the one. The only drawback is the same as all other E-vehicles, which is their range. As long as you don’t mind spending 15-30 minutes at a supercharging station on a long trip, this is not that big a deal.
