Is the 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris reliable?

At 73.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

The current average of $20,761 sits slightly above last year's $20,481.

That modest increase suggests the market has held up reasonably well, which can help support future resale if you buy at the right price. If you choose a clean, well-kept example, you may have a better chance of preserving value when it’s time to sell. Strong demand for fairly priced listings also helps keep the resale outlook steady.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 73.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.37% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2018 is a sensible primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the cleanest history and best asking price rather than chasing the badge alone.
