At 59.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize listings with clean records and consistent service documentation. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it here, especially if you’re focused on the transmission, interior condition, and signs of family-use wear. Pay close attention to how the cabin, cargo area, and third row have held up, since those are central to the QX60’s value proposition.

Should I buy a 2018 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 59.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.70% compared with last year.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,558, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $12,838 average.
• It delivers spacious luxury with a car-based platform that helps it feel surprisingly nimble.

The bottom line: Choose the 2018 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the better value-oriented alternative.
