Used 2018 GMC Yukon for Sale nearAmarillo, TX

How much does the 2018 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 12.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,754 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 GMC Yukon a good car?

Generally — the 4.29/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Yukon’s comfort, spaciousness, and luxurious feel, and many also appreciate the improvement in gas mileage compared with previous models. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a large family hauler with a roomy cabin and a premium-feeling presence rather than a flashy design. With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 4.29/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many shoppers, especially those who value comfort and long-term usability. That said, you should still expect some variation from one used example to another, so condition and maintenance history matter. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a poorly maintained example that doesn’t reflect the model’s generally positive owner sentiment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 GMC Yukon?

At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any listing that looks especially clean or unusually well priced. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and overall maintenance records so you can separate a well-kept SUV from one that has hidden issues. Because this model year is often bought for family use, interior wear and evidence of heavy use are worth checking closely.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,754 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,323, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $24,323 sits slightly below last year's $27,663.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. Demand should remain supported by the Yukon’s roomy cabin and strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.29/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.29/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a smart choice if you want a full-size SUV with strong owner satisfaction, a roomy cabin, and a market that currently favors careful shoppers. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
