How much does the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 9.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,649 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its advanced technology, safety features, spaciousness, comfort, and well-equipped family-friendly layout. That fits especially well if you want a minivan that balances everyday practicality with a more upscale feel and flexible seating for passengers and cargo.

With 32.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependable day-to-day comfort, strong family usefulness, and a vehicle many people feel good about living with over time. At the same time, some owners mention transmission reliability concerns, so you should treat service history and mechanical condition as especially important on a used example.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you verify maintenance and inspect carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

At 67.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to the transmission, overall drivability, and signs of uneven wear or poor repair work.

If a listing looks especially clean on paper, make sure the condition matches the story before you move forward.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,649 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,384, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $13,384 sits slightly below last year's $14,722.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. A softer market can also make resale more competitive later, since your starting cost is lower than it was a year ago. Strong demand from family buyers should still support interest in well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,754, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $13,384 average.
• It represents a fresh-start redesign with a clean-sheet platform.

The bottom line: Choose the 2018 if you want the stronger overall value balance, better market pricing context, and a model year that still feels current for family use. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2017 is the better price-sensitive path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
