How much does the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 26.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,854 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Pacifica stands out as one of the few U.S.-market minivans, and it leans into that role with stylish design, a comfortable cabin, and easy-to-use technology. It is also a practical choice for families who want a well-rounded minivan that covers the basics well.

The trade-offs are clear: performance is fairly pedestrian, the interior materials feel cheap, and the interior design has some functional issues.

Good and great deals percentage: 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Pacifica’s long-running formula and minimal changes for 2024 point to a familiar ownership experience, and the expert review describes it as quiet, comfortable, and relatively refined compared with rivals. Its standard V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as a good fit for the minivan, with enough power for peppy acceleration and a towing capacity of 3,600 pounds.

Chrysler also backs it with a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a well-used example may show wear in the cabin and on convenience features, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because accident-free listings are not the same thing as guaranteed problem-free ownership. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on cabin condition, electronics, and any signs of heavy family use, since the Pacifica’s strengths are tied closely to comfort and convenience. Pay extra attention to how the interior materials and controls have held up.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Touring trim gets the core Pacifica experience, but higher trims add more wheel choices and available packages. The interior is attractive, but the review notes that much of the cabin can still feel like it belongs to a lower trim level, so you should compare materials and equipment carefully.
• Powertrain: The standard model uses a 3.6-liter V6 with 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque paired with a nine-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on the Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle trims.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM with 360L, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. Built-in navigation and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system are available.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA ratings are 22 mpg combined, 19 mpg city, and 28 mpg highway with front-wheel drive, or 20 mpg combined, 17 mpg city, and 25 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 Chrysler Pacifica trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Pacifica’s core strengths at the lowest starting price. It is the best-value choice if you want the minivan’s style, comfort, and standard tech without paying for extras you may not need.
• Touring L: This is the trim to focus on if you want the best balance of price and equipment. It adds access to all-wheel drive and sits in the sweet spot for shoppers who want more flexibility without jumping to the top of the range.
• Limited: This trim moves you closer to the luxury end of the lineup and also offers all-wheel drive. It makes sense if you want a more upscale Pacifica and are willing to pay for it.
• Pinnacle: This is the top trim, with the most premium presentation and the highest starting price. It suits you if you want the most luxurious Pacifica experience and are comfortable paying for it.

Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with strong deal availability and a large pool of listings to choose from.

• Deal availability: 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,854 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,754, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $23,754 sits slightly below last year's $32,515.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that a lower entry price today can reduce depreciation pressure if you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica safe?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica was named a 2023 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, missing out on the highest Top Safety Pick+ award due to low scores in updated moderate overlap front and side crash tests and middling ratings for headlights and front crash prevention tech. It earns five-star ratings from NHTSA, including five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover crash tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.

The main caveat is that the Pacifica missed the Top Safety Pick+ award because of weaker results in some updated crash tests and only middling headlight and front crash prevention performance.

Should I buy a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model adds a handful of new color options and an emergency vehicle alert driver-assist feature.

The bottom line: The 2024 Pacifica is the right pick if you want the latest version of Chrysler’s minivan with strong value, broad inventory, and a proven formula. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better all-around choice if you want the newest updates and a favorable market.
